As a Chinese chemical industry leader listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX: 0301.HK), SANVO’s digital presence suffered from a fragmented brand identity and outdated industrial visuals. My mission was to lead a Comprehensive Brand Transformation, elevating the brand for the domestic market upgrade by unifying UX Strategy and Creative Direction.

OVERVIEW

The Integrated Strategy

  • Information Restructuring (IA): Streamlining complex industrial data into an adaptive Bento Grid matrix. Ensuring high-efficiency information capture that gracefully scales from desktop arrays to mobile-first, e-commerce-ready layouts.

  • Consumer-Grade UX Synergy: Pivoting from rigid B2B tropes to a dynamic "B2C Premium" feel. Combining Swiss Style minimalist UI with directed photography to build an authentic, emotionally resonant "Deep Tech" narrative.

  • Interactive Engineering (Vibe Coding): Bridging the gap between static Figma drafts and live code using React & Tailwind. Architecting molecular-level micro-interactions—such as magnetic cursors and reactive data scrambles—to deliver a living, breathing brand experience.

  • AI-Enhanced Workflow: Leveraging LLMs for "Copywriting Surgery," distilling dense corporate text into concise, user-centric headlines that drive narrative clarity.

Core Experience Modules

The Challenge: Breaking the "B2B Stiffness"

B2B platforms often fall into the trap of being sterile and purely functional. Feedback from industry leaders highlighted a crucial pivot: How do we make a chemical enterprise feel as engaging and premium as a top-tier tech or lifestyle brand?

The Solution: A Consumer-First Mindset

I shifted the design narrative. Instead of just organizing data, I focused on the "feel." By hand-coding the interactive prototypes (Vibe Coding), I introduced fluid micro-interactions, atmospheric lighting, and omnichannel e-commerce UX that speak directly to the modern consumer's expectations.

The System: A Scalable, Decision-Driven PDP Template

A modular Product Detail Page (PDP) designed for diverse chemical lines. It integrates directed product photography for immediate visual clarity, a "Tech Dashboard" for quick spec scanning, and elastic auto-layout usage guides. This component-based approach ensures consistency and scalability across hundreds of SKUs.

Art Direction & Photography:
Elevating Industrial Aesthetics

To break away from traditional "aggressive" marketing, I directed a custom photoshoot to redefine the brand's visual tone.

  • Authentic Storytelling: Replacing stock photos with custom-shot imagery of manufacturing processes and product applications to ensure an honest brand experience.

  • Cinematic Technicality: Using a "Deep Tech" color grade—balancing Sanvo’s iconic Red with cool, industrial grays—to create a sense of precision and future-readiness.
